暂停鞋类进口!迫使鞋服巨头,将当地鞋类产量提高到40%

近日,日本运动服饰巨头 ASICS 的高管告诉媒体,为确保供应稳定,公司将在未来几年把印度本地制造比例自 30% 提升至 40%。
Recently, an executive at Japanese sportswear giant ASICS told the media that, to ensure a stable supply, the company will raise the share of local manufacturing in India from 30% to 40% over the next few years.
印度政府针对多类鞋产品实施强制性质量标准,要求国内外制造商取得认证,迫使全球品牌暂停鞋类进口。
The Indian government has implemented mandatory quality standards for multiple categories of footwear, requiring both domestic and foreign manufacturers to obtain certification and forcing global brands to halt shoe imports.
ASICS 表示,未获政府认证的情况下,从任何国家进口鞋履都不可行。
ASICS said that without government certification, importing footwear from any country is not feasible.
“为应对这一关键局面,我们正有策略地发展本地生产能力。”ASICS 印度董事总经理拉贾特·库拉纳说。
“To address this critical situation, we are strategically developing local production capabilities,” said Rajat Khurana, Managing Director of ASICS India.

在 2024-25 财年,ASICS 已将本地生产比例提升至 30%,达到外国品牌在印开设自有单一品牌门店的法定门槛。库拉纳透露,公司目前通过加盟伙伴经营约 125 家门店,计划年内开设首家自营门店,并正于德里、孟买及周边地区选址;未来数年还将再开设数家自营门店。
In FY 2024–25, ASICS has already raised its local production ratio to 30%, reaching the statutory threshold for foreign brands to operate their own single-brand stores in India. Khurana revealed that the company currently runs about 125 stores through franchise partners and plans to open its first self-owned store within the year, with sites being scouted in and around Delhi and Mumbai; several more self-owned stores will follow over the next few years.

Competing with global rivals such as Nike, Adidas, and Skechers, ASICS also intends to open three new franchise stores per month from now until the end of the year. The company projects another 35%–37% revenue increase in India for FY 2024–25, after a 26% jump in the previous fiscal year that lifted revenue to 4.28 billion rupees (about US$49.7 MIOllion).
